This is a mapping helper for Subnautica. It features a polar grid mode which helps you find grid squares in-game (assuming you have the compass).
Select a grid size from the Polar grid drop-down (at top-right). The map draws a square grid and labels each square with two bits of info:
The bearing is what your in-game compass must show when you're facing the home pod. It's given as compass directions like N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW, plus some + and - marks.
The number is the surface distance (in metres) from your home pod to the centre of that grid square.
To find the centre of the map square of interest:
1. Your in-game compass must show the bearing, with + representing ticks to the right of the compass mark, and - being ticks to the left.
2. Your distance to home pod (seen when you centre the home pod in your view) must match the distance on second line.
This Subnautica map helper contains possible spoilers (location pins).
Do you want to load those location pins, or see an empty map instead?
